2023 CenterState CEO awarded "Ma's Wings & Things LLC" a small business grant through the growth & equity fund.
“John Peter, owner, Peter’s Discount Liquor, wished to support other small businesses, which led him to become a founding contributor to the CenterState CEO Growth + Equity Fund. Through his donation to the CenterState CEO Foundation, Mr. Peter has helped support entrepreneurs achieve new levels of growth, such as Sarah Ausby, owner of Ma’s Wings & Things LLC. Ausby (right), and Peter (left) stand inside CenterState CEO’s downtown Syracuse office. Peter’s donation in support of the Growth + Equity Fund enabled Ausby to access a mini “ignition” grant to cover costs for trade shows and opening her own restaurant space.
